To take a screenshot on your Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, simply press and hold both the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously. Your screen will flash and you will hear a shutter sound to indicate the screenshot has been taken. Your new screenshot can be found in the Gallery application.
